Like most social media platforms, Facebook is a wonderful place to find entertaining and even informative content. However, sometimes you're in a hurry and you can't read a long text post, or you might even be in a quiet place without headphones, and can't watch videos with sound. That is exactly where Saved Posts come in.

Whenever you want to leave a Facebook post for later, without the fear of losing it to the timeline, all you have to do is press "Save Post" and it will be added to your Saved list.

But where exactly can you find those saved posts later? Here is the answer to that question, as well as some additional useful information:

Finding Saved Posts on desktop

If you're using a computer, you can easily find your Saved Posts by following the steps below:

Open Facebook on your computer, and log into your account.
In the bar located on the left-hand side of the screen, click on See More .
From there, select the Saved option (purple ribbon icon).
A new page will now open, listing all of your saved posts. Scroll to find the post you are looking for, and enjoy the content!

Note: If you want to filter out specific types of posts (such as photos or videos) simply click the small slider icon on the right, and choose your preferred categories.

Finding Saved Posts on mobile

If you're using the Facebook Mobile version, however, here's how you can find your saved posts:

Open the Facebook app on your phone or tablet, and log into your account.
Open the Menu by tapping on the three horizontal lines in the lower-right or upper-right corner of the screen, depending on your device.
In the Menu, tap on the Saved option (purple ribbon icon).
A new page will now open, listing all of your saved posts. Scroll to find the post you are looking for, and enjoy the content!

Note: If you want to filter out specific types of posts, tap on the See All button under the most recently saved posts. Then, tap the drop-down menu labelled All in the upper-right corner, and choose your preferred categories.

Saving posts on Facebook

If you're still unsure how you can save posts on Facebook, then simply follow these easy steps:

Open Facebook , and locate the post you want to save, whether it's from your Timeline or a specific Page.
Once you've located the post, click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the post in question.
Here, simply select the Save Post/Video/Event/Link option, and the post in question will be saved for later. Keep in mind that the "Saved" option will appear differently, depending on the type of post you are trying to save.

Removing saved posts on Facebook

To remove any posts from your Saved list, just to the following.

Open your Saved list using the methods described above, and locate the post you wish to remove.
